Four young individuals from Bangladesh have been selected for the prestigious “100 Young Leaders Award 2026” by the Queen Elizabeth II Commonwealth Trust. The announcement was made on April 21, marking the 100th birth anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II. This recognition is considered a significant achievement for Bangladesh on the global stage.
The awardees from Bangladesh are Shah Rafayat Chowdhury of Footsteps Bangladesh, Munia Islam Majumdar of Teach For Bangladesh, Imran Hamin of Farm Solution BD, and Md. Rezwanul Islam Shuvo of Eco Sentinels Bangladesh. They were chosen through a highly competitive process from thousands of applicants for their contributions to education, employment, environment, agriculture, health, and inclusive society building. Winners will receive training, capacity-building opportunities, and global networking support in the coming months.
