The Dhaka University Model United Nations Association (DUMUNA) is preparing to host the 13th edition of its flagship conference, Dhaka University National Model United Nations (DUNMUN) 2026, from August 19 to August 22. With the theme “Consolidating Effective Multilateralism by Upholding Unity in Diversity in an Evolving Global Landscape,” the conference aims to promote stronger international cooperation in an increasingly complex world. The motto for this year’s event is “United in Difference.”

Hosted at the historic Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building, the conference is expected to welcome more than 500 delegates, including participants from abroad. Since its founding in 2011, DUMUNA has remained the pioneer of student diplomacy and leadership platforms in Bangladesh. The conference will bring together students passionate about diplomacy, negotiation, and global affairs under one platform at Dhaka University. Through committee sessions, policy debates, and cross-cultural exchange, DUNMUN 2026 aims to inspire a new generation of young leaders capable of addressing complex international challenges with collaboration and innovation. The event is also expected to strengthen Bangladesh’s growing presence in the global Model UN community.
