A two-day Eid celebration titled “Jashn-E-Eid by Dhaka Beats” is set to take place on March 18 and 19 in Dhaka, promising one of the city’s largest festive gatherings ahead of Eid. The event will be held at Kamal Ataturk Park and aims to bring together families, students, and cultural enthusiasts in a vibrant Chaand Raat-style environment. Organizers say the park will be transformed into a festival ground filled with lights, music, and interactive experiences designed to celebrate tradition and community. The initiative is being organized by Dhaka Beats as part of efforts to create a large-scale public celebration that blends cultural heritage with modern entertainment.

The festival will feature a range of attractions including an open-sky Qawali music night, an open-mic stage for poetry and storytelling, and a large food zone showcasing popular street and traditional dishes. Visitors will also be able to explore a heritage bazaar highlighting local fashion and accessories for Eid, along with mehendi and face-painting stalls inspired by Chaand Raat traditions. Interactive zones such as the “Catch the Moon” photo space, cultural displays, and a fireworks show are expected to add to the festive atmosphere, with organizers describing the event as a family-friendly celebration designed to create memorable Eid experiences for people of all ages.
