The 50th batch of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology successfully concluded its “Iftar Mahfil 2026” on 8 March at the university campus, bringing together students, faculty members and alumni in a warm gathering during the holy month of Ramadan. Organized by EEE Batch 50 with the support of EEE Batch 54, the event aimed to strengthen bonds of friendship, brotherhood and community within the EEE family. The program began with a prayer session before Iftar where participants prayed for collective wellbeing and success, followed by a shared Iftar that created an atmosphere of unity and reflection among attendees.
Alongside the Iftar gathering, the event also featured an Eid Mela that added a festive dimension to the evening. The mela hosted several lifestyle and creative brands including Kankabati, Gachpanda, Pastel Mart BD, Zolo, Goyna Shombhar, Stupid Cupid, Herman and Candle Eco BD, offering visitors a range of handmade crafts, accessories, fashion items and lifestyle products. After Iftar, students, alumni and faculty members spent time engaging in friendly conversations and exploring the stalls, making the event not only a spiritual gathering but also a vibrant social celebration for the AUST EEE community.
