The Bangladesh Navy has recently added the Austrian-made Schiebel Camcopter S‑100 rotary-wing drone to its fleet, greatly enhancing its ability to monitor the sea and carry out patrol missions. Capable of operating for up to six hours at nearly 18,000 feet, the drone was showcased in local media footage demonstrating take-offs from naval vessels and its use in important monitoring operations.
