Days after Inter Milan’s Champions League final defeat, Simone Inzaghi has been appointed head coach of Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal. The 49-year-old Italian, who won one Serie A title and two Coppa Italias with Inter, was unveiled in a stylish social media announcement.
Inzaghi becomes the latest high-profile addition to Saudi football’s ambitious project, joining Al Hilal’s star-filled squad featuring Ruben Neves and Aleksandar Mitrovic. The club, which recently released Neymar, could reportedly target Cristiano Ronaldo next.
